Unrelieved stress and tension can cause debilitating symptoms and side-effects, including insomnia, eating disorders, anxiety and depression – conditions that create an internal disconnect and dampen our enthusiasm for life. A regular gentle practice of Yoga can re-establish a sense of wholeness and well-being. This class empowers students using the principles of trauma-sensitive yoga—a shared authentic experience that is choice-based, non-judgmental and non-coercive. (If you are under the care of a therapist or health care provider, consult them before enrolling to determine whether yoga is appropriate for your condition.)
