CT Security Officer License Certification Course 1001NA

This dynamic course will cover Connecticut laws about the security industry,
self-defense and the use of force, citizens’ arrest, the use of force continuum, fire safety, the history of security, workplace violence, terrorism,
communication skills, and more. Upon successful completion of this
course, you will be issued a training certificate required to accompany
your licensure application to the Connecticut Department of Emergency
Services and Public Protection. No senior discount given.

Administrative directives for Security Officer’s Training Certification, identification cards from the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Division of State Police Special Licenses & Firearms Unit, will be distributed and reviewed during training. This information will outline: application fees, fingerprinting fees, FBI background inquiry fees, State of Connecticut background inquiry fees, and additional requirements such as a copy of your current Connecticut driver’s license and papers of naturalization, if applicable.

Eligibility: must be atleast 18 years of age with no felony record and no sexual offenses.
Please bring CT State ID or Driver’s License to class


For an additional $50 payable at class, you can have your fingerprints taken.
