In this class, we will explore the history that has led to the perception of who witches are. Looking at records in Italy, Scotland, England, Connecticut, and Salem, Massachusetts, we will see how the European idea of the witch came to be. Who were these people and were they witches? This leads us to today where there is a conscious revival in actual witchcraft. With this history behind us, learn why the title of witch is being reclaimed.
Please bring a notebook.
