On Day 1, we will depart via deluxe motorcoach and head towards beautiful Cape May, NJ at Christmas 
time...step back in time to the gentility and charm of the Victorian Era. This seaside town is transformed
into a Dickens village for the holidays with garlands of fragrant greens and twinkling gaslights. This
evening view Cape May’s holiday decorations on our Holly Trolley Ride. Our trolley winds its way
through town as we listen to Christmas music and enjoy hearing the history of many of the 
Christmas traditions of today. Dinner tonight at the Lobster House Restaurant followed by a visit from 
a Victorian Storyteller reading a Christmas favorite. 
On day 2, we will be joined by a local guide and travel through West Cape May to the tip of Cape May’s
peninsula, which is one of the most celebrated bird migratory locations in North America. Entering
 Cape May Point State Park, you can view a fully restored Lighthouse, build in 1859. Then onto 
Sunset Beach where the concrete ship Atlantis is still visible. We will enjoy a short shopping stop or 
search for Cape May Diamonds. Enjoy lunch at the Washington Inn before an afternoon Holiday Inns 
Tour. Get in the holiday spirit as we go on our self-guided tour through some of Cape May’s properties. 
Step inside these Inns and see them beautifully decorated with garland, bows, trees and more. 
Evening and dinner on own to explore the quaint shops & restaurants along the Washington Mall.
On the last morning, we start with a guided tour of the impressive Emlen Physick Estate returns you 
to the era of Victorian opulence and experience the feeling of Christmas in the 1890s. Learn all about 
Victorian Christmas traditions and decorating at Cape May’s only Victorian House Museum. Visit the
Carroll Gallery to see “An Old-fashioned Christmas” exhibit, a popular annual display featuring a huge
Christmas tree, model trains, and an elaborate Dept. 56 Dickens village collection. we visit the quaint
village of Historic Smithville, with cobblestone streets and lovely boutiques filled with unique and
beautiful gift ideas for the holidays. We head towards home with memories of a lovely visit to
Victorian Cape May.
