Adults who did not complete their high school education have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma by attending class and accumulating the required number of credits. Students must earn a total of 25 credits.
Classes are offered in English, Math, Social Studies, and Science on Tuesday thru Thursday evenings. Online classes are available on Monday evenings. Credits previously earned are transferable.
Additional credits may be earned for work experience, occupational license, apprenticeship training, formalized job training, military service, independent study, community service and by completing courses online that are provided by the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium. The adult high school also collaborates with Gateway Community College for additional credit options.
