English for Speakers of Other Languages

Would you like to improve your English communication at home, at your children's school and on the job? Are you interested in furthering your education or training? Do you want to learn more about the culture of the United States? We offer classes just for you.

They include:

•  English classes in listening, speaking, reading and writing
•  Three levels of instruction
•  Free assessments to help determine your needs
•  Access to a computerized English language learning system

Classes are scheduled from September through December and from January through May. Call 773-9211 after November 24 for registration dates.

A photo ID is required and registration takes approximately 1 hour. Students must register in person at the Keefe Community Center, 11 Pine Street, Hamden, CT. Call 773-9211 for more information.
